Etienne Roger's delicious Pinot Noir is a very classy wine. Gentle wild strawberry notes give way to juicy sweetness of raspberry and red plum, flavours that are bright yet restrained on the palate. Good structure brings a savoury side into play, but very smooth and long, there's an effortless quality here, superb balance that you might find in a good southern Burgundy.
